Star Grips

Star grips, also known as five-lobed or clamping star knobs, are ergonomically designed hand grips used to provide a secure and comfortable hold for manual adjustments, tightening, or clamping applications. Their distinctive star-shaped design allows for excellent torque transfer and easy operation, even when wearing gloves or working in oily or dirty environments.

In engineering and manufacturing, star grips are commonly used on machinery, jigs, fixtures, and equipment where components need to be frequently adjusted or locked in place by hand. They are ideal for applications such as securing panels, adjusting machine settings, tightening clamps, and positioning mechanical parts.
