The combination of indexing plunger and actuating element forms a complete system which can be used for many types of application. The actuator with detent function should be used. for applications where the indexing pin should remain disengaged for an extended period and be prevented from springing back.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<strong>Material: <\/strong><br \/>\r\nThreaded sleeve 1.4305.<br \/>\r\nIndexing pin 1.4034.<br \/>\r\nWire cable 1.4401.<br \/>\r\nTraction sleeve steel wire with plastic sleeving inside and outside.<br \/>\r\nEnd sleeves and setscrews brass.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<strong>Version: <\/strong><br \/>\r\nThreaded sleeve bright.<br \/>\r\nIndexing pin hardened and ground, bright.<br \/>\r\nEnd sleeve and setscrew galvanised.<br \/>\r\nBowden cable casing black.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<strong>Note for ordering: <\/strong><br \/>\r\nWe recommend using the online shop configurator to create a complete system with ease.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<strong>Note: <\/strong><br \/>\r\nVarious lengths of Bowden cable are available.<br \/>\r\nThe Bowden cable can be shortened as required during installation to ensure an exact fit in the application concerned.<br \/>\r\nThe wire cable or Bowden cable sheath can be easily replaced if required.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<strong>Note the following points when installing Bowden cables:<\/strong><br \/>\r\nThe length of the free end of the cable can change due to layout angle, bend radius and load factors. Therefore, the length of the opposing bracket (cable sheath) must be adjusted using the enclosed set screw after the Bowden cable has been laid. The set screw is also used to set the tension in the Bowden cable system.<br \/>\r\nDuring installation, take particular care to ensure that the bend radius is not less than the minimum value, which in this case is R = 65 mm. A radius which is too small can lead to increased wear and higher friction.<br \/>\r\nBriefly bending less than the min. bending radius during installation should also be avoided, as this can damage the cable sheath. The sheath is also only designed to absorb compressive forces.
