A new indexed position can be only be moved to after the pin has been manually retracted.<br \/>\r\nLockout versions&nbsp;are recommended for applications where the indexing pin should remain disengaged for an extended period and be prevented from springing back.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nIndexing plungers with regular threads and not ground or hardened indexing pins are a cost-effective alternative to existing indexing plungers. However, the precision offered is still sufficient for many applications.
