The Exair standard air knife are supplied with a standard .002" / 0.5mm shim which works best for most applications, however there are some situations that require more force and air flow.
Shim sets are an ideal way of increasing the gap opening within the air knife and therefore producing a higher velocity of air with a harder hitting force
