EXAIR's Chip Shields are a durable polycarbonate shield that protects operators from flying debris often associated with blowing chips off machined parts. Chip Shields can also help minimize coolant or liquids from splashing during drying operations. They help meet the requirements of OSHA 1910.242(b) for safe use of compressed air. Chip Shields are available for EXAIR's Precision Safety Air Gun, VariBlast Compact Safety Air Gun, Soft Grip Safety Air Gun and Heavy Duty Safety Air Gun. Safety Air Guns with or without an Aluminum Extensions can use Chip Shields. Chip Shields are not for use on guns that use a Stay Set Hose.
